What is nicotine salt?

An e-liquid containing nicotine salts has a certain amount of organic acid in its composition. This acid is combined with nicotine and creates a nicotine salt.

Why do you want a nicotine salt?

The use of a nicotine salt will reduce the intensity of the hit, and thus facilitate the use of an e-liquid highly dosed nicotine.

The "hit" barrier is the first factor that prevents a user from consuming nicotine levels above 16mg/ml, although sometimes necessary in the context of withdrawal. The high intensity of the hit also disadvantages the absorption of nicotine contained in the e-liquid, because the discomfort caused by the irritation of nicotine, will lead to the user reducing the importance of his puff and the amount added to the progression in the throat will be limited.

The use of a nicotine salt allows to benefit, when necessary, a high level of nicotine (mg/ml) by minimizing the effect of the hit.

We recommend the use of an e-liquid with nicotine salt for the following reasons:

• If you experience too much discomfort to vape an e-liquid with a high level of nicotine, to the point of not being able to vape properly,

• If you have tried e-cigarettes several times, but have not managed to deviate from traditional cigarettes,

• If you are a vapoteur, with a low nicotine level, but you want to occasionally or at specific times (after lunch, with a coffee) increase your nicotine level, to avoid smoking a traditional cigarette or to reduce your consumption of e-liquid, on those same moments that push you to vape twice as much as usual.

A nicotine salt e-liquid may therefore be complementary to the use of a conventional e-liquid, even with a low nicotine dosage.

What materials to use with this product?

We recommend the use of an e-liquid with nicotine salt with a material offering a tight draw (pod type), using resistances greater than 1.0 ohm.

The use of a nicotine salt e-liquid offering a residual hit, if you vaped this e-liquid on too powerful material, you expose yourself to a nicotine overdose: headaches, tremors, ...

This e-liquid is produced from French nicotine developed by VDLV and an organic acid.

Composition:

• PROPylene glycol and PE-grade vegetable glycerin (European Pharmacopeia)
• Natural and synthetic food aromas of vapological quality. They contain no sugar or gum.
• Ultra-pure water (Milli-Q)
• Pure liquid vapological nicotine, manufactured in France by VDLV, of PE quality, extracted from tobacco leaves. This is regularly analysed in purity and concentration thanks to our in-house analysis (HPLC chromatography and gas/mass spectrometer), and compared to standards provided by accredited laboratories.

Packaging:

The e-liquids of the Authentic range are packaged in polyethylene terephthalate plastic bottles (without bisphenol), recycled (PET1), with a capacity of 10ml, equipped with a dropper, an inviolability ring and a child safety cap.

In accordance with European law, each bottle has a personalized labeling mentioning the design and name of the flavour, the composition of the e-liquid, the nicotine level, the name, the company's address, the optimal use-by date and the lot number.

For nicotine e-liquids, a regulatory pictogram, cautionary advice and a "Danger" touch sticker for visually impaired people are placed on the vial.

Recycling BOTTLES:
The logo affixed below our empty packaging, indicates that once rinsed with water, they are recyclable.

Analyses:

Our e-liquids are regularly analysed with the constant concern for optimal traceability and safety (microbiological analyses and chemical analyses: nicotine and impurities, aromatic spectrum, absence of formaldehydes, acetaldehydes, parabens).

All of our e-liquids comply with XP-D90-300 Part 2 (diacetyl rate well below 22 ppm) and for constant safety reasons, we also monitor levels of acetyle propionyl, hexane 2.3 dione and acetoin).
